The instantly recognizable Telfar Shopping Bag has earned a spot as an object in MoMA’s collection. The unisex bag was conceived by Liberian-American fashion designer Telfar Clemens who also has work featured in the Museum’s Pirouette: Turning Points In Design exhibition, on view through October 18, 2025. This interpretation is exclusive to our customers and made of Tyvek®, a durable and waterproof material traditionally used in building construction. The signature style is available in three sizes, Small (for the party and the afterparty), Medium (fits a laptop on your daily commute) and Large (perfect as a weekender or carry-on). Each one features handles and crossbody straps, an embossed “T” logo, plus a main compartment with magnetic snap closure.
