Meret Oppenheim My Nurse Holiday Cards - Set of 12

This set of 12 holiday cards features Ma gouvernante - My Nurse - Mein Kindermädchen (1936) which is featured in MoMA’s Meret Oppenheim: My Exhibition, on view from October 30, 2022 through March 4, 2023. The cards are blank inside with white envelopes.  The artwork, a Surrealist object, features trussed-together high heels on a silver platter that evoke an eroticized holiday turkey. One of the few women artists in the male-dominated Surrealist movement,  Oppenheim has several artworks in MoMA’s collection, including a Museum-visitor favorite: Object (1936), a fur-covered teacup, saucer and spoon. Each card measures 5h x 7"w.
