MoMA Exclusive: Champion originally made their hoodie to keep athletes warm during training in the 1930s. This Champion Garment-Dyed Hoodie - MoMA Edition is our current take that nods to ’90s minimalism with “MoMA” appliquéd in classic collegiate-style letters. Thanks to the special process of garment dyeing, each sweatshirt has a super soft feel and cool washed-out look. The MoMA Champion Hoodie was first produced in connection with MoMA’s 2017 exhibition Items: Is Fashion Modern? An original version of the brand’s hoodie from the 1980s is an object in the museum’s collection. The Champion Garment-Dyed Hoodie - MoMA Edition is available in sizes Small through X-Large.
