Artek Aalto Half-Round Table 95 - Birch

Designed to be used alone or with other Aalto tables, this versatile Half-Round Table 95 was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1935. Made from solid Finnish birch wood that has a warm, natural beauty and will age gracefully over time, the table is produced semi-industrially, adhering to strict criteria and a high level of handcraftsmanship. Use the Half-Round Table alone as a console or team one or more up with Aalto’s Rectangular Tables to create oval or semi-oval table possibilities. Combine two Half-Round Tables to create a cozy dining table for two people. Made in Finland from solid birch with a tabletop of birch veneer, high-pressure laminate and linoleum. It measures 29.25h x 47.25w x 23.5”d. Some assembly required. Both Alvar Aalto and the table’s manufacturer, Artek, is represented in MoMA’s collection.
